Crafted from their Alpha® fabrics, a performance material originally designed for the U.S. Special Forces, our winter-ready men’s cycling gilet is extremely lightweight and packable without sacrificing warmth. The Tokaido Alpha Vest has been tested and proven tough, along with the rest of our Tokaido collection, on the inaugural Silk Road Mountain Race, where riders must be prepared for every eventuality. 

Made from revolutionary Alpha® fabrics by Polartec®, the Tokaido Alpha Vest is designed to adapt to the elements. Originally created for the U.S. Special Forces, Alpha® fabrics combine lofted fibers with a solid mesh core for superior insulation that is lightweight, compressible and moisture wicking. Utilizing what Polartec® call “air exchange” technology, the Alpha men’s cycling vest disperses excess body heat and moisture while blocking cold air from reaching your core. The Tokaido Alpha Vest packs into its own pocket and features reflective details for after-dark riding.
